I think we’ve got a new favorite location for Latin food. I had the huevos revueltos con chicharron and my wife had the mini picada; we both had coffees, black and a latte respectively. I thought my breakfast was good, and it was, until my wife shared hers…. I was floored. All the proteins were tender and flavorful, they had to have been cooked in lard or something to have tasted as good as they did, and the portion size was big enough that most people would get 2-3 meals out of it. The pan de bono was also very good and my cup of coffee was one of the most balanced I’ve had in a long time. As for atmosphere, nothing wrong with it, fairly typical volume and quantity of people. I always love places that are really quiet and low key so I can stare off into space, but this was a nice cafe atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

Came here to get coffee while waiting for service to be done on my car at the auto-shop next door but ended up ordering full meals. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and our waitress was so kind and helpful with her menu recommendations! I got the Calentados con Huevos (10/10) and my partner got the large Bandeja Paisa (20/10) which was on the lunch menu but they made it for us even though it was only 9am. The cheese bread was also amazing and we ended up ordering some to-go. Can’t wait for my next oil change so I can grab some food here while waiting on my car!

The arepas were thinner than most we have eaten before. The Columbian coffee was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious and piping hot when received. It was packed, without parking spaces available. We parked in the next lot and just walked over.

Do you want to feel like you’ve been transported to Colombia while living in RVA? Do you need an incredible coffee to start your day with an Arepa con Queso? Come to freaking Cafe y Sabor. It’s so incredibly good. From breakfast to dinner. Try anything and you’ll love it. I tried one of their Cazuelas and I was throughly satisfied. It looks small but every bit satisfies hunger with flavor.

This is the best breakfast I’ve had in Richmond, Im not a waffles and eggs type of person so this hit the spot. The steak and plantains wheeeew! Can’t wait to come try other options. Music was way too loud for 8 am I almost had to leave because it was overwhelming but service was great.

We have been in many colombian restaurants in USA but we can say that this one is the best so far.... food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a mini Bandeja paisa and sancocho 3 carnes.. my favorite ..the beans.. full of flavor. I am colombian and this place reminds me to be at home. Ah! As this one was our first time...they gave us pandebonos as a treat. Beautiful gesture! Service and waitress very friendly and nice.
